Live-in Assistants

We are currently looking for a female live-in Assistant for one of our homes.

Summer Assistants

We are accepting applications for a live-in summer assistant (May to August) to help cover vacations of house assistants. Previous experience in L’Arche or working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Casual Support Personnel

Casual support personnel work on an “as needed” basis. The casual support position can be an on-call position filling in for regular assistants on leave, or a temporary part-time/full time position.

We are currently looking for someone who can work flexible hours and is also available to work overnight (awake), 10:30 pm-6:30 am.

The overnight awake role involves overnight supervision of adults with developmental disabilities, cleaning bathrooms/kitchen and other housekeeping chores required at two different locations. Requirements for applicants: the ability to provide physical care to people including lifts and transfers; the ability to carry out responsibilities without supervision; a valid driver’s license.
