Memorial Donations
Memorial donations are a meaningful way to pay tribute to a relative, friend or colleague who has passed. When you give to the L'Arche Foundation, you honour a special life by helping us improve the lives of those with developmental disabilities.

Upon receipt of your gift, we'll send a letter to the honouree's next of kin in acknowledgement of your special gift. (The amount of your gift will be kept strictly confidential.) When sending a memorial gift, please include the name of the honouree, as well as the
name and address of the next of kin.

In-Honour Donations
Say thank you to someone whose generous spirit has touched your life. In-Honour Donations are a wonderful way to express your gratitude and make a difference in the lives of those with developmental disabilities. To acknowledge your donation, a letter will be sent
to the individual on your behalf acknowledging that you have made a gift to L'Arche Foundation of Greater Vancouver in her or his honour. When sending an in-honour gift, please include the name and address of the person being honoured.

Celebration Donation Invitations
A Celebration Donation Invitation is a L'Arche Greater Vancouver donation card and envelope that you can include with party invitations. It's a thoughtful way to commemorate what is truly important. Mark a birth, graduation, anniversary, or other special occasion
in your life by asking friends and family for donations to L'Arche Greater Vancouver in lieu of presents.
How to Give
Let us help you develop a Celebration Donation Invitation. Contact us at tributeprogram@larchevancouver.org or call 604-435-9544 ext 21 or 25 with the following information:
- What and/or who is being celebrated
- Date of the celebration/party
- How many people will be receiving your Celebration Donation Invitations
We will create customized Celebration Donation Invitations to enclose with your party invitations, along with a note encouraging guests to donate in lieu of gifts. Your guests will bring their completed Celebration Donation envelopes to your party. Simply collect
and send them, in person or by mail to:

Note: We strongly recommend that cash donations be delivered in person.
Upon receipt of collected donations, we'll send you a letter of thanks informing you of the total amount raised by your event, as well as thank you notes and tax receipts (for donations of $20 or more) to your guests.

Wedding Recognition Series
Our Wedding Recognition Series is a thoughtful alternative to giving wedding favours and receiving wedding gifts. What better way to celebrate the start of one family than by giving hope to so many others? We appreciate your choice to share this special day with L'Arche
Greater Vancouver, and would be delighted to recognize your generosity in several ways:
- Plate Cards
Plate cards are an elegant addition to any table setting. The personalized message tells your guests that you have made a donation to L'Arche Greater Vancouver in their honour.
- Certificates
A certificate from L'Arche Greater Vancouver, displayed as a centrepiece or beside the guestbook, is a tasteful way to tell guests that you've made a donation to L'Arche Greater Vancouver in their honour. This certificate can be personalized to include the names
of the bride and groom, as well as the wedding date.
- Donation Request Cards
When you choose to request donations to L'Arche Greater Vancouver in lieu of wedding gifts, you'll receive donation request cards to include along with your wedding invitations. The degree of personalization for all three choices above depends on the donation made.

Create a Wall of Tribute (Under Construction)
L'Arche Foundation's Wall of Tribute is a virtual wall dedicated to the remarkable people who have touched our lives. This is a place where you can express your feelings of friendship, love, admiration or sympathy.
Tribute pages can memorialize a loved one or honour individuals celebrating a birth, birthday, anniversary, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, wedding, or any other special occasion.
Post a message or donate to an individual's Tribute Page or create your own Personal Tribute Page.
